The Laguna Paron is one of the most impressive gems of the Cordillera Blanca, famous for its turquoise waters and panoramic views of snow-capped peaks such as Artesonraju, Garcilaso Pyramid and Huandoy. On this tour, we depart from Huaraz toward the Callejón de Huaylas, crossing unique Andean landscapes until reaching the Parón area, near the city of Caraz.

Upon arrival, you will have time to enjoy the viewpoints and take a Short hike along the shoreline and take unforgettable photos of the glacial valley and its mountains. It is an ideal outing for those seeking nature, fresh air, and a spectacular destination without a demanding hike.

  • 08:00 – 08:30 a.m. Hotel pickup (Huaraz) and departure to Caraz
  • 10:30 a.m. Approximate arrival in Caraz and a brief stop for shopping (snacks / water)
  • 11:30 a.m. Entry onto the route to Laguna Paron (ascent by vehicle)
  • 12:15 p.m. Arrival at Laguna Parón and free time for photos, viewpoints, and a short walk along the shoreline
  • 02:30 p.m. Return to Caraz
  • 03:30 p.m. Stop for free lunch (optional, in Caraz or along the route)
  • 04:30 p.m. Return to Huaraz
  • 06:30 – 07:00 p.m. Estimated return to the city
